With 300 employees in Billund, Denmark, and Enfield, USA, CMA is a global full-service agency that serves the LEGO Group´s internal clients with all types of marketing solutions - from communication strategies over packaging design to TV spots, mini movies, digital solutions and much more.

Customer Relations consists of 20 employees and you will have 3 managers reporting directly to you. Your responsibilities cover the customer relationship, customer budgets as well as ensuring that the marketing solutions deliver according to customer briefs and business objectives.

Want to take our Consumer Insights to the next level and set the global agenda? Be a true strategic partner and lead one of Europe’s most talented Consumer Insights teams?

The LEGO Group has high focus on Consumer Insights (CI) and in this new position as Senior Director based in Billund, you will set the operational, tactic and strategic direction for the area globally.

Through active stakeholder management and buy-in, you will anchor the internal branding of Consumer Insights and feed the strategic planning and innovation of a world-renowned brand by acting as a solid and pioneering strategic partner to top management.

Further advance a mature consumer insights department into a core capability

By functioning as the global go-to CI expert and driving strategic dialogue with core stakeholders, you will develop the insights portfolio and move us beyond today’s insights level. You do so by leading and developing your global team of 4 managers and 20 highly skilled specialists that deliver global business support within all aspects of consumer, product, market and competitor insights. By further developing our NPS approach, you drive satisfaction and advocacy with your team across the LEGO Group.

In order to bring us to new insights methods and new areas of insights, it is your responsibility to align and further develop working and co-creation methods. Moreover, you ensure that your team delivers intelligence at world-class level for established - and new, not yet established - areas within e.g. Shopper Insights, Digital Insights and Social Media. The aim is to ensure knowledge and develop a deeper understanding of our consumers to bring them even better online and retail LEGO Experiences.

Solid CI experience paired with strong leadership skills and an innovative mind-set

You have a master’s degree in a related field and 8+ years of global CI experience from a premium brand. This has given you a deep understanding of CI processes, methods and tools. You hold a track record of establishing new CI methods/programs/competence centres and with 5+ years’ management experience, you have proven that you are an engaging leader with solid leadership skills. You have successfully demonstrated your commercial acumen and ability to impact business. Fluency in English is a prerequisite.

You create a culture of partnership with market/product teams as well as department followers through deep knowledge and a collaborative approach. Driven by creating results and making a difference through continuous innovation, your execution power is striking and you excel in turning strategy into deliverables. Finally, it is imperative that you have outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills to succeed in this position.
