ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
Master of Science (MS) Degree in Electrical Engineering, Acoustics Design, or Physics of Acoustics
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
5+ years' RnD experience in audio speaker design:
*Experience in consumer audio speaker development (such as the HiFi speaker, home theater system, floor-standing speaker, bookshelf speaker, high-end crossover, twitter, woofer, subwoofer, loudspeaker, sound bar, docking audio (transducers and diaphrams))
*Experience in acoustics-based speaker design and development
Required Skills
*Familiarity with Klippel, Clio, and LMS
*Simulation skills for speaker system design
Preferred Skills
*Expert knowledge of speaker system design (especially, drivers, and diaphrams)
*Critical listening skills
Other Requirements
*Driving idea generation for new drivers, diaphrams, and cabinet structures
*Ability to create clear documentation and to explain design concepts in detail

2. Essential Job Functions
*Leading transducer development within advanced speaker system projects
*Developing novel transducer concepts
*Supporting technical design in terms of the speaker's acoustic perfomance, durability, and cost
*Performing feasibility tests for new design concepts
*Generating all relevant documentation (such as simulation data, performance data, and some others)
*Giving lessons on acoustic technology to team members
3. Others
*Conducting research on and development (RnD) of advanced products and technologies in the area of materials, components, topologies, and simulation methods
*Producing both technical reports and simulation reports
*Developing new drivers and diaphrams
*Communicating with internal and global developers
*Composing novel speaker technology surveys
*Designing speaker systems (especially, transducers)
